Purple Lens automatically identifies and corrects tables within your website that are not accessible to people with disabilities. Here’s how to enable this feature:

  1. Access the Purple Lens control panel.
  2. Locate the section dedicated to data table accessibility and select it.
  3. Click “Enable” to initiate the process of adapting your tables’ structure to meet accessibility requirements.

Once activated, the system will automatically scan your site’s tables and adjust their accessibility to comply with the necessary hierarchy.

By default, the option “Data table accessibility” is deactivated (the checkbox is unmarked). In this case, the tool algorithms will apply a common way for navigation inside the table with skipping of some data.

If the “Data table accessibility” is activated (the checkbox is marked and changes were saved), the tool will apply advanced logic for data recognition inside the table and make all values focusable
